Dear Students,
The Mental Health Center of the University of Debrecen proceeds to provide psychological counseling for international students in person (or if requested, online).
Our service includes 1+4 sessions, where the first one would be about defining the problem and getting to know each other. The further sessions would focus on the defined topic itself. Anonymity – in the terms of the University’s and professional privacy policy – applies and the service itself is free of charge.
We can give support in the following topics: family and relationship problems, conflictual situations, adaptation difficulties, etc.
Our center cannot perform psychodiagnostic tasks (e.g. ADHD, learning disabilities, etc.), as this is a healthcare professional task.
If you have severe and urgent problems (e.g. suicidal thoughts or urge, hallucinations), please call an ambulance (112), or visit the ER.
